WHO WE ARE

Continuum Carbon is a Michigan-based industrial company building a scalable, replicable platform that converts problematic carbon-rich waste into high-value commodities. Our first facility processes scrap tires — one of the state's most persistent environmental liabilities — and returns them to the economy as reinforcing-grade carbon black, petroleum-equivalent oil, clean steel, and the energy that powers the plant itself.

We are not a waste hauler, a shredder, or an incinerator. We are a commodity producer whose raw material happens to be something the rest of the world pays to get rid of.

Leadership

Robert A. Geusic, Founder, CEO and CTO

Robert A. Geusic has spent thirty years doing one of the hardest things in

business: taking complex technology into conservative industrial markets and

converting it into revenue.

Early in his career, Harold Geneen selected him to help rebuild and relaunch

Gunther International, an effort that earned national recognition and produced

alliances with IBM Print Systems, Xerox, Roll Systems, and Standard Register.  . He repeated that pattern at Cope Systems, and the Harris Group all three companies were acquired by Bell & Howell Mailing Systems.

At ADP Dealer Services, he led a $200M P&L and grew a new business unit from inception to 20% of a $1B division, helping drive the industry from Dot Matrix Printing. During his tenure, Robert worked for Kathy Mehall developing the concept to  shift from on-premise systems Motorola PIC Unix Processor to early NT-based SaaS Automotive Dealer Management System.  Kathy went on to be a CIO at GM and Urban Science. Gordon Eubanks and Dieter Giesbrecht recruited

Robert to Symantec to run the US Automotive and OEMs.

Robert was salesperson number 3 to be hired by James Gerry, founder of Pedestal Software — opening territories nationally and globally brands and delivering pipeline and revenue that contributed directly to successful acquisitions by Altiris. This was one of the most successful acquisitions, and Robert contributed by bring in the top revenue of the Sales Team before acquisition in the early 21st century.

Across HP, VMware, Symantec, Whitehat, Radware, and Alcatel-Lucent, Robert

became the executive companies relied on to break into new markets, rebuild

failing regions, and close enterprise transformation deals. He sold into 21 Global

100 companies, delivered 390%–523% quota attainment, negotiated enterprise

contracts ranging from $2M to $13M, and repeatedly built pipelines from zero to

tens of millions of dollars.

At HP Enterprise Security, he originated and launched Fortify on Demand, built

directly from a major automotive client requirement to bring 850 BPO

developers into compliance with its top cybersecurity controls. The solution

became a flagship offering in HPES’s security portfolio and earned him recognition

as the #1 Sales Executive at HPES in 2013.

Robert served five years on the National Postal Policy Council, advising on

regulatory and modernization issues affecting one of the nation’s most complex industrial systems — experience directly relevant to the permitting and regulatory environment in which Continuum Carbon operates.

As founder of T. Wallace Cornell LLC, he built go-to-market systems for emerging technology startups, supported pre-Series A fundraising, and advised Fortune-scale organizations on modernization, risk reduction, and vendor strategy. Through the firm, he supported Optima Anodes with market development and early commercial outreach for engineered-carbon and synthetic-graphite anode materials-work that directly informs Continuum Carbon’s Phase II engineered-carbon roadmap.

Continuum Carbon is a capital-intensive, industrial-grade climate-infrastructure

company. It requires leadership that understands industrial buyers, regulatory

complexity, capital formation, and enterprise-scale execution. Robert has been

doing exactly that, at scale and across multiple industries, for three decades.

Jordan P. Brewster, Esq., MS; General Counsel and CIO

Jordan P. Brewster brings two careers to Continuum Carbon: more than a decade as a New Jersey commercial litigator and, before that, nearly a decade as a corporate information scientist inside two of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. In his combined role as General Counsel and Chief Information Officer, he is responsible for the company's legal affairs and for the systems that govern its records, data, and proprietary knowledge.

Since 2015, Jordan has been proprietor of the Law Office of Jordan P. Brewster in Randolph, New Jersey, concentrating in commercial litigation, estate litigation, and actions in general equity. Among his matters, he settled a complex, large-scale tortious interference and breach of contract claim brought against a national retailer on behalf of a regional information technology service provider. He previously practiced as a Senior Associate at Norrie & Associates and as a founding Partner of Hoberman & Brewster, LLC in Montclair, where the firm resolved a number of malpractice and personal injury claims valued in excess of $1 million. Earlier, he clerked for a New Jersey Certified Civil Trial Attorney at Rabner, Allcorn, Baumgart & Ben-Asher, P.C., and, as a contract attorney with Strategic Legal Solutions in New York, conducted privilege and relevance review on the Relativity and Catalyst platforms for counsel to two major banks in mortgage-crisis litigation and to a major technology company facing charges from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Jordan's information career began at Rutgers University, where he earned his Master of Library and Information Science while serving five years as a reference librarian and training library school students in research practice. At the Rutgers Library of Science and Medicine, he managed the IEEE database and repository and was responsible for tracking and disseminating FDA regulatory updates—work that placed him in regular contact with the research and regulatory staff of the pharmaceutical companies that would later recruit him. As an Information Scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb's World Wide Medicines Group, he ran the daily operations of a market research library, managed a departmental budget of several hundred thousand dollars dedicated to the acquisition of key clinical data, and negotiated global licensing agreements with data vendors including Reuters and Datamonitor. At GlaxoSmithKline's consumer-division R&D facility, he supported product-development chemists, managed a corporate library of more than two hundred monographic, electronic, and serial publications, and worked with the legal department to negotiate and execute confidentiality agreements that led to the acquisition of new products and manufacturing techniques.

After his stint in the pharmaceutical industry, Jordan served at the Newark Public Library, where he oversaw the library's U.S. Patent and Trademark Office resource desk—a flagship USPTO designated location serving inventors, scientists, and entrepreneurs across the region—and designed and taught public courses on information literacy and software applications.

Jordan holds a Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) and a Master of Library and Information Science from Rutgers University. He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 2011, to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 2015, and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2023.

For Continuum Carbon—whose value rests on proprietary process technology, commercial supply agreements, real property, and a regulatory record that must withstand scrutiny—the two roles are one discipline. Jordan is responsible for ensuring that what the company knows is protected, that what it records is accurate, and that both can be defended.

Our Commitment

We believe the century-old choices for difficult waste — bury it, burn it, or ship it somewhere else — are no longer acceptable. We are building a fourth option: take it apart, recover everything of value, and put the carbon back to work.

We are committed to operating transparently with regulators, as good neighbors in the communities that host us, and as reliable suppliers to the industries that depend on us.
